Jonathan(my Son) and I ran in our first 5K race on Saturday, April 14, 2007. It was a good race and we both finished! See the official race results later in the story. Jennifer(my Wife) and Christopher were on hand to cheer us on. David Wilson(a good friend) ran with us as well and inspired me to run the race.

Jonathan did very well in the race time wise. His unofficial time was just over 21.10. If he would have signed up as a competitive runner he would have placed 4th in his age group. Jon later told me the he was listening to Freebird on his Ipod when he crossed the finish line! Yeah!
